It is already a public affair that Ousmane Dembélé has had disciplinary problems
Ousmane Dembélé started the season rampant. He scored more goals than the last season in just a few matches. However, he was penalized when Ernesto Valverde introduced tactical changes. Then, his discipline issue appeared first against Sevilla. He was in the bench and Valverde needed to bring him in when Messi was injured. But, Dembélé wasted 10 minutes changing his tracksuit.
It was not an anecdote. Rafinha played more than him when Messi was out. Dembélé did not seem to change. He was late in the Inter match meeting. Then, last Thursday 8 November he did not appear in the training season. Later it was known that he had stomachache and Valverde did not call him for the match against Betis. It seemed a punishment, but the coach did not affirm it. In addition, Dembélé also was late to come back to the stadium when the second half in the Barça-Betis started.
This week, the French coach Didier Deschamps added that he already knows Dembélé's excuses when he is late. Finally, in an aim to end with the polemic, Dembélé's manager has said that the club is glad to Ousmane and that both the coach and the tecnic staff are proud with his job. However, they know that the French forward has to improve in some aspects, but he wants to keep in Barcelona.
